Summer is wonderful, but as the calendar creeps forward and the nights start drawing in, so many of us feel like we could do with a bit of a refresh.
I’ve always seen September as a sort of second new year. There’s something about school uniforms and stationery flooding the supermarket aisles that brings a sense of optimism, and it’s a great time to give ourselves a fresh start.
To reflect on what is and isn’t working, and get clear on how we want to spend the rest of the year. To set goals that feel exciting and motivating, and to embrace the return of routine instead of dreading it.
Introducing… Reflect & Reset
If you’re craving your own fresh start, my one off workshop, Reflect & Reset is for you. Taking place in the first full week of September, we’ll spend 90 minutes together refocusing on what’s most important to you and getting clear on your goals, so that you can end 2022 feeling really great about everything you’ve achieved.
Here’s how we’ll do it.
Wiping the slate clean
All fresh starts require a clean slate, and so that’s where we’re going to start our Reflect & Reset process. We’ll reflect back on the year so far, think about what we’ve learned, and draw a line under anything we’d prefer to leave behind us.
Getting clear on the vision
Then we’ll shift our thinking to the future. We’ll work our way through some tasks that will help us to reset our 2022 vision and get clear on where we’d love to be at the end of the year.
Setting goals
Once we’ve got our vision locked in, it’s time to set some practical goals. I’ll take you through my tried and tested process to help you set goals that feel great.
Taking action
Of course, setting the goals is only the first step of the journey - to make any sort of real change, we need to commit to taking action. This part of the workshop will help you commit to doing that in a way that works for you.
Staying the course
Finally, we’ll wrap up with some thoughts about the future, so that we can plan ahead and feel prepared for staying the course long after September has ended.
